Hypnosis is a deep state of relaxation with an acute focus. You actually go through hypnosis several times a day.
Can I be hypnotized?
In short, yes, anyone can be hypnotized. However, you have to be a willing participant and have the desire for change. Hypnosis is a consent state, which means you have to allow yourself to be hypnotized. No one can be hypnotized against his or her will. Only someone who is willing can benefit from hypnosis.
What will happen to me while I’m in hypnosis?
Hypnosis cannot make you do or say anything you would not want to do willingly.
Many potential clients believe therapeutic hypnosis is similar to stage hypnosis where the hypnotist can make you do things, say things, forget things, and act in a behavior completely outside of your norm. While this type of hypnosis does exist, it is not what happens in our office.
Anyone who has the desire and motivation to use hypnosis to change their life for the better can do so. It is possible to accomplish long desired goals by using the power of the subconscious mind in hypnosis.
How do I know if I’m a good candidate for your program?
A good candidate for hypnotherapy with Thinessence is someone who understands that there is work to be done outside of our sessions. In addition, they will be willing to participate in our session work and have a deep desire to create the changes they would like to see in their lives.
When these three things are met, hypnotherapy has an established success rate. We are taking your desires for change and solidifying those goals in the subconscious mind, which further encourages you to produce a sustainable transformation.
